Simple Oven-Baked Salmon for Lent

This easy salmon recipe is light, flavorful, and perfect for Lent! It requires minimal ingredients and is ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients (Serves 2-4)

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried oregano or parsley
  • Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the salmon:
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
    • Place the salmon fillets on the sheet, skin-side down.
  3. Season:
