Perfect Peach Mule | Party Time Favorites

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka (or bourbon for a Peach Kentucky Mule)
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 fresh peach, pitted and sliced
  • Mint leaves (optional)
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Peach slice for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Peach Purée:
    • In a blender, purée half of the peach slices until smooth. If the peaches are very ripe, you can mash them with a fork or muddle them in the shaker.
  2. Muddle the Mint (Optional):
    • If using mint, place a few mint leaves in the bottom of a shaker and gently muddle to release the oils.
  3. Mix the Drink:
    • Fill a shaker with ice.
    • Add the vodka (or bourbon), fresh lime juice, and peach purée (or muddled peach).
    • Shake well to combine.
  4. Assemble the Mule:
    • Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice.
    • Strain the contents of the shaker into the mug.
    • Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish with a lime wedge, a slice of fresh peach, and a sprig of mint if desired.
