How to Clean a Jetted Tub with Gain Laundry Pods

Materials Needed:

  • 1 Gain Laundry Pod (Gain Laundry Flings)
  • Hot water
  • Cleaning cloth or sponge
  • Soft brush (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Fill the Tub:
    • Fill your jetted tub with hot water until the water level is about 2-3 inches above the highest jets.
  2. Add the Gain Laundry Pod:
    • Drop one Gain Laundry Pod into the hot water. The pod will dissolve and release the detergent into the water.
  3. Run the Jets:
    • Turn on the jets and let them run for 15-20 minutes. The detergent will circulate through the jets, cleaning out any built-up residue and grime.
  4. Drain the Tub:
    • After running the jets, turn them off and drain the tub completely.
  5. Refill and Rinse:
    • Refill the tub with clean, cool water until it again covers the highest jets by about 2-3 inches. Run the jets for another 10-15 minutes to rinse out any remaining detergent.
  6. Final Drain:
    • Drain the tub again.
  7. Wipe Down the Tub:
    • Use a cleaning cloth or sponge to wipe down the tub’s surface, paying special attention to the area around the jets. If needed, use a soft brush to scrub around the jets to remove any stubborn residue.
  8. Dry:
    • Finally, dry the tub with a clean towel to prevent any water spots.

This method should help keep your jetted tub clean and free of buildup. It’s a good idea to clean your jetted tub every month or so, depending on usage.
