Rosemary and Thyme Burger Recipe
- Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey, chicken, or plant-based meat)
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried rosemary)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried thyme)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (if using lean meat)
- Burger buns
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onion, condiments, etc.
- Instructions:
- Prep the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground meat with rosemary, thyme, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and olive oil (if using lean meat). Mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into patties. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- Cook the Patties: Preheat your grill, stovetop skillet, or oven to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using a grill or stovetop skillet, you can add a slice of cheese on top during the last minute of cooking.
- Toast the Buns: Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet for added texture and flavor.
- Assemble the Burgers: Place each patty on a bun and add your desired toppings and condiments.
