The Team Development Department is a strategic partner in achieving Kessler’s Vision & Commitment by building transferrable training, processes, policies and tools that are effectively communicated & consistently followed. In addition, our team provides ‘people support’ to leadership through coaching, consulting, training & guidance. Finally, Team Development works diligently to help continue to build a remarkable culture at Kessler’s, not only one that strives to build trust by ensuring consistency and fairness, but also one that positively engages every team member.
Kelly Comstock, Director
After starting her career in education, Kelly took what she knew to a new career in human resources. With her role as Director, Team Development, she can utilize not only the over 15 years of experience in human resources, but also go back to her educational foundation and focus on building training curriculum as well. Kelly grew up in a small town in eastern SD and graduated from SDSU. After living in the Twin Cities area for several years, she and her husband returned to SD to raise their family.
Heidi Fisher, Manager
With a Master’s Degree in Educational Studies, Heidi brings an expansive knowledge of adult learning techniques to her role in the Team Development Department. Having taught at the college level as well as within corporate environments, Heidi has a solid perspective of how to engage team members from the very beginning of their relationship with Kessler’s. Heidi was born and raised in northeastern SD and grew up knowing the Kessler’s brand. She is proud to be part of the Kessler’s team and contribute to their continued growth.
